Photographers swear by it. “Golden hour,” the hour just after sunrise and the hour just before sunset when the light casts warm orange and pink onto its subjects. It’s awesome if you manage to make a photo at this precious time of day. This post isn’t about light though, it’s about a temple I visited recently. They say it’s made of gold. And it actually is. Well, kind of. It’s plated in gold and it is stunning. At golden hour, at noon, at midnight. It shines like a beacon for God. A few of my friends visited for Thanksgiving and were awed by its beauty and tranquility. See for yourself!
